The most recent book published by HopeWell was The Second Time Around, published in 2023. This was essentially the result of a research project into the experience of Huber astrologers on their Age Point entering the 1st and subsequent houses of the birth chart for the second time around the chart, i.e. from around age 70 onwards.
These years are not necessarily years of gradual decline. Age Progression tells us that this is a favourable time for growth and renewal of our lives, as we begin to circle around the Life Clock for the second time. With awareness, we have the opportunity to move beyond limitations which we may have had since childhood or our adult years.
It seems that at this stage of life we face a choice; to continue to learn from past experience and grow in a spiritual direction towards wisdom, or to stay at the same kind of psychological level we lived at in our earlier lives, perhaps begrudging the inevitable slow decline in our faculties. If we choose the former path some sort of Life Review can help us find our way to renewed life, and astrological psychology and the birth chart can very much help us in this process, helping to identify and move beyond habitual patterns and obstacles to growth.
