The theory of Age Progression is one of the major innovations introduced by Bruno & Louise Huber, following their collaborative research with Roberto Assagioli at the Psychosynthesis Institute in Florence. The birth chart is used as a sort of Life Clock whereby the astrological influences suggest inherited, environmental and unconscious influences at different stages of life – a powerful tool in the hands of the experienced consultant, and a valuable aid in any process of Life Review.

The theory was first published in book form in English by the publisher Samuel Weiser in two volumes, Life Clock 1 in 1982, and Life Clock 2 in 1986, both translations of German originals.

In 2006 it became apparent that Weiser was no longer keeping the book in print and copies were becoming difficult to get hold of. With the agreement of the Hubers and termination of their agreement with Weiser, we reset and edited the text, improved the diagrams and layout, and republished as a single edited volume Life Clock: The Huber Method of Timing in the Horoscope. For cost reasons at that time, the illustrations remained in black-and-white.

In 2013 Joyce Hopewell wrote a simplified guide and concise overview of Age Progression, with full colour illustrations, published in the book Using Age Progression: Understanding Life’s Journey, also made available on Kindle in 2019.

The cost equation finally allowed a full colour version of Life Clock itself to be published in 2022.
