Bruno & Louise Huber began their program of teaching, based on the results of their extensive researches, by founding the Astrological Psychology Institute in Zurich in 1968. Their first book Der Mensch und Seine Welt was published in German in 1975, and this was translated and published in English by Samuel Weiser in 1978 under the title Man and His World. This psychological view of the astrological houses provided the foundationstone for all their later books. It soon became a big seller, in astrological terms, which no doubt encouraged Weiser to continue and publish further books in the series.
In 1981 API Verlag published a second German edition under the title Die Astrologischen Hauser: Der Mensch und Seine Welt. Weiser soon followed suit with their second edition The Astrological Houses: A Psychological View of Man and his World.
Because of its fundamental importance, The Astrological Houses was a set book for the English Huber School, and the school bookshop maintained a large stock. It was not until 2011, when stocks began to run low, that it became urgent to published a new revised edition under the HopeWell imprint.

Thus the first Huber title became the last to be published by HopeWell. It remains a fundamental work on which the Huber Method is founded.
