From 1986-2019 the Astrological Psychology Association/ English Huber School offered tutored Foundation and Diploma courses, leading to the award of the Diploma in Astrological Psychology. These courses are no longer provided.

Astrological Psychology: The Huber Method

An alternative approach to study is now available, through the book Astrological Psychology: The Huber Method, available from bookshops.

This is published in an A4, full colour format and closely follows the content in the 8 original Diploma Course Modules, so provides a similarly complete course of study.

Some ex-Huber-School tutors are offering tutoring services in parallel with your study using this book, in a more flexible way than was possible with the Diploma Course.

A set of downloadable Study Resources is provided to support your studies.

New Online Course

As a recent addition, our good Huber friends Harald Zittlau and Vera von Elm now have available a new online study course in the English language on Huber Astrology, or astrological psychology. Their course is available on the website huber-method.com.

The course has evolved from the German remote-learning-then-online course that has run for many years, and the English Huber School’s Diploma Course, and was supported by funds from the demise of the English Huber School.

The content looks pretty comprehensive, as you can see from the study overview. There are basic and enhanced study options, and a reduced price for groups that register together. There is also a study advisor on the best way to work with the course.

There is admin and technical support, but appear to be no options for tutoring. [One of our tutors or consultants may be able to help if you get stuck, but be aware that they will not be familiar with the contents of this course…]

Foundation Astrology

For those not familiar with astrology, or those desiring an introduction to the Hubers’ approach before tackling the more advanced material in Astrological Psychology: The Huber Method, we also offer the ebook Foundation Astrology as a downloadable pdf file. Essentially the old APA Foundation Course, this gives a basic grounding in astrology and the psychological approach of the Hubers.

Other introductory books

There are also plenty of introductory astrology books on the market, and the book The Cosmic Egg Timer: Introducing Astrological Psychology provides a good introduction to the Huber approach.
