My previous post reviewed Roberto Assagioli’s Biography. Here, I take a quick look at his chart.

Roberto Assagioli 27/02/1888 12:03, Venice, Italy

What an amazing aspect pattern – such a complicated arrangement, with so many different aspect figures (MegaStar reports 13 different aspect figures, plus two linear figures.) This corresponds well with what we know of Assagioli’s wide range of interests and activities. The Venus-Jupiter sextile facing the DC and the world well matches Roberto’s reported serene disposition towards everyone, although the internal red aspects suggest there was a lot going on underneath.

His early inspired vision at age 11 on the wholeness of everything came just after his Age Point encounters with Saturn and the North Node. This is what his life was about.

His outgoing activities that eventually led to the establishment of the Institute of Psychosynthesis began around the time Age Point passed Mars on entry to the sign Scorpio. And the restarting of activities that were stopped by the hiatus caused by WW2 correspond pretty well with the passing of Age Point over Mercury.

The period 1959-61, when the Hubers worked with Roberto in Florence, corresponds to the Age Point progression over the AC in Cancer – the family sign pointing Bruno to take forward Roberto’s ideas on the psychological application of astrology. (Bruno was believed to be Roberto’s second son – his first son Ilario had died 8 years previously.)

There is much to ponder in this chart and its Age Progression. The Huber’s take a look in Aspect Pattern Astrology1.
