“To Be Seen As We Are”
“When the beauty of the soul is seen, it is invariably considered to be the true identity of a person….And when people are seen for who they are, they feel affirmed. This is the great secret of psychotherapists.” This is from Piero Ferrucci in his book, Beauty and the Soul. All charts are perfect, and the essence and beauty of that person lies in the aspect structure. With that position, we have a distinct advantage, as Huber astrologers, to support clients at a more primary level, focusing on shaping, colour/image, and direction. Before we add in yet another asteroid to the mix we can rest assured we’ll get the most ‘juice’ from the aspect structure itself.
With that in mind, what is this individual’s purpose? With a completely red/green linear chart spanning the “I”/”you” and a massive red star through the chart center it has to be significant. The Encounter Axis of “I” and “You” is primary, along with all the tension these massive polarities hold. “A life’s work takes a lifetime” so I’m wondering how they’ve leaned into this part of their chart. It’s powerful, and my overall impression of the image is, “This seems very important to you.” A red/green signature lacks any buffer for rest and being, doubled with a completely linear motivation that, at a foundational level, “Exists only to be going, to drive forward, restless in pursuits of a most cardinal sense of purpose.” The Red Star is central, as Bruno Huber described them as a “point of constant agitation and consequent exhaustion, of hurting and being hurt as energy is received from the outside.” All planets, minus, Neptune, are part of the star, doubling its importance for the individual. With Neptune in Piscean waters in the 9th, energized by Mars square, I sense an outlet for the polarities resting across the red star, encounter axis.
The House Chart reveals more blue with Jupiter supporting Neptune (trine) along with North Node sextile. This suggests the environment saw and therefore encouraged Neptune’s 9th house placement. Curious as to what this could be…
Lastly, there’s a huge amount of fixed signs in this chart. With a 100% motivation of drive and pursuit (linear aspect structure) we have a contrast of cardinal drive and motivation with fixed energy/acquisition. I’m curious as to how this plays out for the chart owner, too.
Lastly, in terms of Age Point, chart owner has hit (and started to move out of) the low point 10th house of career/higher calling/standing up in the world in ever-expansive Sagittarius. With a sextile to Mars 1st house and Nodal AP trine to Sun (1st house) (and recent Uranus sextile) this individual may be finally “climbing back on the saddle” and re-orienting themselves with these supporting aspects. Late last year’s square to Pluto 8th house would have been felt, I’m sure (matched with a progressed Moon over Pluto – supporting the Age Points alignment). I would suspect that the age point in mutable placement, mutable sign of Sagittarius, and 10th house would start to feel as a pivotal time to be changing things up, moving forward, after what appears to have been a significant, tough, period up until recently.

The chart image speaks to me of the restriction of a butterfly who is straining to spread her wings. Maybe it is the intensity of the butterfly inside the chrysalis at the moment that it would release itself into the world. This is an intense moment in time.
My initial reaction to the chart overall is an empathetic understanding of the sensitivity and pain of such a tense red and green chart. I’m also a 1962 baby and have some oppositions and quincunxes lying across from the “I” to the “You” side of the chart. It was such a huge support to me to recognise the meaning of this extremely sensitive shaping in my own chart when I began to study astrological psychology. “Handle with kid gloves” was something I always remember Joyce saying about such a combination of red and green aspects. “Like treading on eggshells” was another comment I heard her say. So true! Learning to be with this tense, nervous energy, “without any buffer for rest and being” (blue aspects) for the native of this chart must indeed be taking a lifetime’s work, I’m sure.
Restricted by all three Ego planets being intercepted means that the native would know well the frustrations of being unable to find recognition in the outer environment. The Leo Moon on the Descendant in opposition to Saturn conjunct Mercury and Mars suggest that longed-for creative expression has been severely inhibited. The linear motivation and so many red aspects in the chart suggest that this person will be very driven, and with nowhere for that energy to go I wonder how they have coped with the frustration. It looks as though they are always on the edge of achieving something and become exhausted in the process. With no blue aspects there would be no time to rest on their laurels when something is achieved and no time for relaxation and being. Bruno’s description of the Red Star in your interpretation, Mark, – hurt and exhausted – seems to be reinforced by the general shaping and features of the chart.
Neptune in the Ninth House looks to be a way out from the intensity of the overload of You-dependency on the 1/7 Axis Polarity. However Neptune is also intercepted and on a Low Point. Though great to see that the House Chart brings support from the environment with a Jupiter trine and North Node sextile, Mark. Individual development (4/10 Axis) is essential for someone with such a strongly Horizontal chart shaping.
So much interception in the chart often leads to a strong development of the inner world. And with four quincunx aspects straddling the Encounter Axis in the Natal chart there will be much opportunity in the life for consciousness-raising. Neptune in the Ninth House suggests that this person may have developed a meditative and spiritual approach to life. Having passed the Crossing Point in the Ninth House five years ago, and now with Age Point on the Low Point of the Tenth House in Sagittarius, there may have been a time of great change of personal philosophy and a continued reassessment and development of the inner world. Age Point in the Tenth House could also bring a wider overview of how relating with the ‘You’ has been happening throughout the life. It would now be very possible to change and cultivate a new attitude toward the ‘You’, seeing people as they are, without projection. Without all the disappointments and hurts that ensue from our reactive behaviour and confrontation with the other we can strengthen ourselves within, live and exist on our own, and become a real partner to the ‘You’.
That’s two great responses from Mark and Caroline! What a remarkable chart, which raises so many questions. That huge tension on 1/7 between ‘egoism and altruism’ as the Hubers say in The Astrological Houses. This is also the nodal axis, and the North Node is on the side of altruism, yet most planets are in that intercepted first house ego. The way out of that tension might be on 4/10, but there are no tools (planets) there.
And the figure looks sort of like an incomplete Irritation Rectangle – a tense, difficult figure, made more difficult by being incomplete. The Hubers say that the inner tension of such a rectangle ‘may be used as the impetus for personal development’. The bewildering range of oppositions may well force such development.
Then there is that Moon near the DC, facing the world and fronting all that inner tension. The only other planets on the You side are transpersonals. That Moon is probably very sensitive.
So many questions!

With a red/green chart signature in my natal, I share a it of the irritated capacity of this chart. However, through the Ideal Model psychosynthesis exercise I was able to work with all my Huber charts, and deeply reflect and start to integrate the red/green irritation. My end result was an evocative sailboat (using qualities from my House chart) and the red/green Irritation Triangle in my natal became the necessary “wind in my sails” moving me forward. If nothing else, an Irritation Triangle likes to move and not be idle and it was the process of utilizing ALL my charts to help foster an Ideal Model for myself, at this stage in life.

its strange seeing my chart called usual, as of course its normal too me! The huber way of looking at the chart is different to my conventional learnings. And the said many points of what has been said above is very true.
There has always been a push pull through out anything in life for me. Always trying too see from the other persons perspective. ‘creative expression has been severely inhibited.’ I have struggled with the inner world not matching my outer world, Through years of ongoing therapy and constantly striving to “look within” has truly been a blessing. Seeking and speaking the truth, as I know it. The blessings have also been a curse.
Its kind of interesting how the push pull plays out. By chance I discovered Gestalt Therapy and it became my best friend. Gestalt works with polarities and looking at one side/end to the other.
Relationships with anyone have to have some meaning. Deep and meaningful, otherwise, forget it. Im not into small talk.
A tough period for everyone, however tough for me, but again with profound insights learning curves and amazing transformations! I truly didnt think would be possible.
